La Voix Humaine is a compelling opera intima by Francis Poulenc, exploring the emotional complexity of a woman's final telephone conversation with her lover who has left her for another. In this poignant monologue, she navigates through lies, manipulation, guilt, and gaslighting, all while grappling with the overwhelming undercurrent of love and loss.
