Veniccio Introduces New Ticketing System for Classical Music Events in the Philippines

Veniccio is taking a bold step toward enhancing the classical music scene in the Philippines by developing a new ticketing system set to launch in the third quarter of next year. The platform aims to streamline ticket sales and improve the overall experience for both organizers and attendees across the country.

Currently in partnership with Richard Sy-Facunda, director and producer of the Manila Artist Piano Series, and Joseph Uy of Cultural Arts Events Organizer, the system is designed to serve a wide range of classical music events nationwide, with future opportunities for more partnerships and collaborations.

The system will feature QR-coded tickets for seamless check-ins, ensuring smoother audience management. Beyond convenience, it will help event producers assess their programs more effectively, paving the way for more strategic and well-planned performances across the country.

As part of this initiative, Veniccio’s website now includes a dedicated events page displaying classical music events in the Philippines in chronological order. Through this calendar, users can conveniently browse upcoming performances and purchase tickets directly from the site. The ticketing page will feature key details such as the event date, venue, synopsis, and program. In addition, curated Urtext book suggestions aligned with the performance repertoire will be provided, offering music enthusiasts a chance to dive deeper into the works being performed.

While the ticketing system is still under development, Veniccio has already begun offering tickets for the Manila Artist Piano Series and Cultural Arts Events Organizer’s programs. This initiative promises to bring a new level of organization and accessibility to classical music enthusiasts nationwide.

“We’ve been to countless recitals and classical events both locally and abroad, and we’ve seen the potential for growth in the Philippines,” said Rafael Marco Balbin, director of Veniccio. “What we lack is a centralized platform for classical music. In places like Singapore, platforms such as SISTIC allow audiences to easily discover events and purchase tickets in one place. Here, many concerts still rely on ticket sales through social media direct messages, which can be inefficient. We see this as an opportunity to enhance the experience for both audiences and organizers, as the process should be seamless.”

While the ticketing system is still under development, Veniccio has already begun offering tickets for the Manila Artist Piano Series and Cultural Arts Events Organizer’s programs, showcasing the early steps toward a more organized and accessible experience for classical music lovers in the Philippines.

This new venture is set to bring an exciting change to the classical music community, improving how performances are organized and experienced, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the arts in the Philippines.
